  27. I'm not clear from your description, but it sounds like you may be
  28. installing both a com port and a modem at the same com port (address).
  29. An internal modem includes the "com port", so make sure that you don't
  30. install the modem at an existing com port address.

  32. Try running PortInfo with the modem OUT of the computer to make sure
  33. that the com port address is not being used by another com port.
